The LX27 Clamshell Rooftop Tent is the lightest in Navigator Outdoor range at only 73Kg, but still delivers on the strength and quality of materials that our products are world renowned for.
At only 172mm high this tent will suit virtually any vehicle regardless of roof load capacity and you should still be able to get in your garage. There’s 80mm space above the mattress when closed, so you can still store your bedding and pillows inside the tent.
With less that a 60 second setup/pack down, double skinned canvas walls & doors, dual layered super comfortable mattress and full electrical package are just some of the features that makes the LX27 Clamshell Rooftop Tent one of the best touring tents available.

Mattress and Cover (AX27,DX27,TX27)
$119.01 Exc. Freight & TaxesNavigator Outdoor’s rooftop tent mattress and cover is one of the most comfortable available in the rooftop tent market.
The mattress dimension are Length 2.13m / 7′, Width 1.3m / 4′ 3.8″, Thickness 80mm / 3.15″.
The mattress is dual layered medium and super density foam removable rip stop cover that provides a comfortable sleeping surface and can be removed for washing if required.
NOTE: Mattress is shaped to fit the AX27, DX27 and TX27 rooftop tents, it does not fit the TX27 MAX or Classic rooftop tents.

MAXTRAX Load Bar Bracket

Crafted from CNC laser cut and folded stainless steel, this bracket comes with stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers, including 80mm M10/ ³/₈” stainless bolts and large wing nuts capable of holding up to 4 recovery tracks. Additionally, the bracket is compatible with MAXTRAX quick release pins, these are not included. Its sleek black powder coat finish adds a stylish touch, with Navigator Outdoor’s brand name laser cut into the arms.

MAXTRAX Side Mount Bracket

This pair of brackets is made from high-quality stainless steel that has been CNC laser cut and folded, and it is coated with a sleek satin black powder finish. The brackets come with all the necessary stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers, including 80mm long M10/³/₈” stainless bolts and large wing nuts that can hold up to 4 recovery tracks. The bracket is also compatible with MAXTRAX quick release pins, although these are not included. To add a stylish touch, Navigator Outdoor’s brand name is laser cut into the arms of the bracket.

Outhouse Low Profile L-Bracket

The bracket is 147mm (5 ²⁵/₃₂”) high and the pitch of the mounting bolts that attach to a tent is 60mm max or 46mm min and are 105mm (4 ⁹/₆₄”) apart.
The bracket is made from stainless steel and has been CNC laser cut and folded and finished in a durable powder coat finish. The brackets are supplied with a complete stainless bolts and nyloc nuts for assembly.

Rooftop Tent Load Bars
$185.00 Exc. Freight & TaxesThe Rooftop Tent Load Bars, sold as a pair, are designed to fit flush with the roof rails of Navigator Outdoor rooftop tents. This provides extra tie-down options and protection for the roof.
The bars are made of extruded aluminium with stainless steel end caps, mounting feet, bolts, and nuts. They have a matte black finish and have been engineered and extruded on three sides to accept M8 (5/16″) bolts or nuts, so you can easily attach eye bolts for tie-down straps or other accessories.
If you want to fit solar panels as well as load bars, you can use the optional load bar high foot mount to raise the load bars, allowing you to store equipment on the roof without resting on your solar panels.
NOTE – these do not fit the TX27 or TX27 MAX Tents

If you are looking for a way to keep cool during those hot summer night while on the road, look no further than the Sirocco 12V Fan. This powerful fan is perfect when you need a reliable source of ventilation.
Navigator Outdoor Sirocco 12V Fan Mount Plate can be easily attached (all mounting hardware is provided) to pre-installed rivnuts in the beams of the roof of Navigator Outdoor LX27 rooftop tents. The Scirocco fan can then be easily slid into place when required and removed when the tent is to be closed leaving.. The mount plate also provides a place to mount your tents magnetic tri-colour rechargeable light.
The Scirocco Fan is supplied with cables to connect it to your tens power sockets, these include a 2.5m extension with a male and female cig socket that can be run neatly up the zipped canvas channels on the inside of your tent, and an 86mm cable with a male cig socket that plugs into the female end of the extension cable and also connects to the terminals on your fan.

Slat Extension Brackets

This aluminium ‘Slat Extension’ mimics the design of the tent’s underside extrusions, fitting between two to create a ‘bridge’ for the load bar. All the necessary fittings to attach the slat to the extrusion are included with the bracket. It’s easy to install and only requires a 13mm/³³/₆₄” socket or spanner.

Solar Panel Bracket (AX27, DX27)
$125.00 Exc. Freight & TaxesIf you’re looking to mount solar panels on the roof of your tent, the Solar Panel Bracket is an ideal solution. Constructed from stainless steel with a black powder-coat finish and sold as a pair, the brackets mount to the rails running along the roof and are designed to securely hold your solar panels in place.
For mounting your panels, all you need to do drill holes into the frame of your panels for the rivets, which are supplied with the bracket. Additionally, the bracket ensures that there is still air circulation underneath the panel, helping to maintain the panel’s output efficiency.
NOTE: these brackets only suit the AX27 and DX27 rooftop tents, not the TX27 or TX27 MAX.

Spring Rod Adapter
$32.00 Exc. Freight & TaxesThe Spring Rod Adapter mounts to the Navigator Outdoor’s Tent To Awning Bracket for tents that have that have the ‘Ezi-Slot’ channels built into the frame. Spring Rod Adapter bracket only required if the tent to awning bracket is mounted pointing upwards – usually done to avoid the vehicle doors from rubbing on the awning bag.
The Spring Rod Adapter is made from stainless steel in a powder coat black finish to match the rooftop tents. The bracket is supplied with stainless steel M8 pan head bolts and nyloc nuts and comprehensive fitting instructions.
The adapter is available in a left and right hand version.
